The area has been known for its beach and riverfront since ancient times as it had access to both these elements through a navigable canal that connected to the sea via an artificial channel called “Lunda”, which was created by laying stones along its course.[1]
Majorda’s location makes it an ideal place for travellers who want to experience a quiet getaway away from hustle bustle life back home but also need some excitement in their lives too! The beach here attracts thousands during holidays like Easter or Christmas where you can find vendors selling traditional food items like rice balls with fish curry inside them – perfect for breakfast if you’re looking forward something healthy before hitting up some sightseeing later!
